Before I dive into today’s article, I just want to say thank you to all the recent subscribers to this newsletter. It means a lot to have your support.
Below I will share some setbacks I’ve experienced during sobriety and outline some ways I’ve dealt with them without diving back into booze.
I will also highlight some scenarios that could lead you back to the bottle and ways to avoid that from happening. Remember, when the question is; how will I overcome this setback? The answer is never alcohol.
Listen to the similarities and not the differences. This will give you the best chance of rejecting alcohol as a coping mechanism. I used booze as my way of coping for years and it served me no good.
