Fear is a big reason for drinking. It can stem to so many different places!

I never thought I had much fear until I got sober. Then I realised that most of my drinking was to suppress my pain and mask my fears.

Making day-to-day choices as a parent can be incredibly challenging at times. I often wonder if being so caught up in our thoughts forces us to tune out and ignore our instincts. When did we first start doubting ourselves as fathers?

I think it has a lot to do with information overload. Instead of trusting ourselves, we do our due-diligence by researching things online or by asking others for advice but then end up with multiple different answers and move further away from our gut, heart and natural instincts.
